Adrensaline Junkie—that’s what people call Jay. While he enjoys skipping across the water on a windsurfer and navigating a tight, bolder covered paths in the woods on a mountain bike, it’s not about the rush. These things allow him to immerse himself in nature at a level many people my not experience. Jay strives to be equally immersed in technology. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering but has always been fascinated with computers. He went into Sales for a company that combined the two—a computer software company that developed Mechanical Design software. While the embedded market is very different, the language of engineering remains the same. Aventas is located in the center of the North Dallas Telecom Corridor. Jay focuses a lot of his efforts on the Telecom and Testing segments of the embedded market. He also works with many of the Aerospace and Military contractors in the area.
